Is this for firms only?+
No. Legivo is built for three kinds of people: boutique firms, attorneys who practice alone, and paralegals who work independently for several attorneys. Each one gets the product set up for the way they work.
How is Legivo different from other legal practice management software?+
It is built and priced for small practices. Client intake and CRM, case management, deadline tracking, workflow automation, your Outlook inbox, legal billing and accounting come in one login, from $25 a month.
What does Legivo automate?+
The jobs you do by hand today. It finds dates in your email and offers the task already dated, creates every task of a case from a workflow, writes your status report for any period, puts unbilled hours and costs on the invoice, records monthly expenses on their day, and shows you what is late or waiting the moment you log in.
Do I have to change how I work?+
No. You keep your Outlook address and mailbox, and you set Legivo up with your own workflows, practice areas, case stages, rates and services. We set up your organization with you so it matches the way you already work.
Does it work with my email?+
Yes, with Outlook, Hotmail and Microsoft 365. You read your mail inside Legivo and turn any message into a task. Legivo only reads: it never sends, changes or deletes your mail, and it does not keep a copy.
Can I charge a flat fee instead of hourly?+
Yes. Each case is billed by the hour, with separate attorney and paralegal rates, or set to a flat fee for the whole job. You can also price services once, like a will or a demand letter, and add them to any invoice.
Will it keep my books?+
On the Attorney Solo and Boutique Firm plans it gives you an income statement: what you collected, case costs, operating expenses by category and net income, for any day, week, month or year. You can export your expense ledger for your accountant.
Who can see my cases?+
The people assigned to them. In a firm, paralegals never see rates, invoices or the firm's accounting. One organization never sees another.
Is there a discount for paying by the year?+
Yes. Annual plans take 20% off: Paralegal Solo is $20 a month, Attorney Solo $32, and Boutique Firm starts at $60 for one attorney and one paralegal, billed once a year.
